I must say, the Victory Hotel Saigon had a lovely atmosphere that made me feel comfortable during my stay. The decoration was tasteful and had a touch of elegance. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for seniors like myself to navigate around. Additionally, the hotel's convenient location allowed me to easily explore different districts in Ho Chi Minh City without much hassle.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for seniors would be to have more attentive and helpful staff members. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and could have been more understanding of our needs.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, with easy access to various attractions. The funky café nearby is a hidden gem with a welcoming atmosphere. The service is top-notch, with polite staff. The room is incredibly spacious and features comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. The pool offers a great city view, complete with towels and deck chairs. The evening meal at the restaurant is delicious, and the breakfast spread, although very Asian-focused, offers a great variety of Vietnamese foods to choose from. The availability of taxis right at the door is convenient, despite the hotel being located on a one-way street. The presence of a pool was a major selling point, and the breakfast exceeded expectations. The building may be older, but the value for money is excellent.

The swimming pool was lovely, great access to internet in room free
Reception staff spoke poor english - hotel definitely catered better for the locals. Beds were extremely hard. Free breakfast was very asian, only suitable food was fried eggs and white toast, fruit and orange juice, quite disappointing.

Staff were not particulary helpful with tours and suggestions for sightseeing. More of a hotel for people on business. Took so long to checkout, as they had to send staff to double check we hadn't used mini bar, which was not something we experience at other hotels in vietnam

Title: Wonderful Stay, Highly Recommended!
Although my experience at Victory Hotel Saigon was fantastic, I would have loved to see more activities and services catered specifically to senior guests. As the children working there seemed enthusiastic and eager to please, it would have been wonderful if they had provided some tailored activities or amenities for seniors like me.

I stayed on the 3rd floor and could here the hotel guests from the ground floor in the function room. I also kept hearing the dot matrix printer going late night and early morning from the house keeping store room which woke me up on several ocassions.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel as it had a great location - close to everything! It was walking distance to most tourist attractions and very close to the town center. They made my trip easier. Lastly, the breakfast in this hotel was superb - they had a great variety of Vietnamese food to choose from.
Nothing for me.

The staffs are accommodating although I have the hard time communicating with them because only few of them speak and understand English. I love the location, my room and food. There's always a standby taxi in front of the hotel. However, on our first day, we arrived at the hotel 3:00 A.M. and there's no room available even we have reservations. We waited until 9:00 A.M. to have room. We were exhausted and sleepy. It's good they upgrade our room with the same rate. Their officer in charge are very helpful.
